Mountain Perks is a quiet, cozy espresso bar nestled in the heart of the scenic little town of Bryson City, NC.   Bryson City is an outdoor destination for hiking, biking, boating and much more.   The city is even known as one of the top paddling towns in the United States.   One visit to the area and you will see what makes this area enjoyed by everyone.   In the central part of town sits Perks just across from the Smoky Mountain Railroad. Our location helps make the perfect place to just sit back browse the net, enjoy a good book, or of course relax with a great cup of coffee.

When it comes to scrumptious edibles, we are the place.   We offer a wide selection of bagels that range from Plain to Everything, as well as bagel and croissant sandwiches.   Our delicious and popular wraps include The Greek, Dilled Vegetable, Sweet and Hot, The Parisian, The Floridian, Black and Blue, and the Horseradish Heaven.   If you are in the mood for soup or salad we have that also. Our three salads selections are House, Chef's, and the ever so popular Greek, which comes with a side of hummus.

If a meal isn't quite what you are looking for and you just want something to energize you before enjoying the area, then grab some of our energy food.   The muffins, raspberry bar, yogurt, granola, fruit and quiche by the slice will help recharge your body to enjoy the great outdoors.   Or when you are done running around

Life's too short for bad coffee!

Jeff and Pam Pulley are the owners of Bryson City's original coffee shop. Roughly two and a half years ago Jeff and Pam moved to the area with their two daughters to enjoy the Southern Appalachian region, and like many of Bryson City transplants, they came from the southern city of Fort Myers, FL.   After vacationing in the mountains of Western NC for twenty years, they committed to a new life and made the transfer.   Not really knowing exactly what they would do after moving, they contemplated the idea of purchasing a small business and have the entire family run the operation.   Mr. Pulley says, "What better way to teach your kids how to run a business, then by running a business?"   So the search for a new trade began.

They zoned in on a café shop named Mountain Perks.   Its ideal location was not only across from the Smoky Mountain Railroad, but also in a central spot of town that would get a handful of locals and tourists ready for a hot cup of coffee.   Under previous ownership, they saw that there was a loyal following so they knew it would be a great endevour.
